Each year, the Quincy Public Schools Foundation holds an Annual Campaign, with the mission of raising funds to support the Quincy Public Schools in the areas of curriculum, technology, fine arts, and athletics. Funds raised during the annual campaign also go toward the work done within the Quincy Public Schools Foundation, helping to expand the Foundation’s capacity and grow its impact. Our 2025 Dream Big Annual Campaign Chairs are Eric Loos ’01 and Heidi Holzgrafe ’00!

What an incredible evening we shared at the Quincy Public Schools Night to Dream Big!
This year’s event paid special tribute to the QPS Music Department, celebrating four outstanding educators whose vision and dedication created a music program like no other — Clyde Bassett, Tom Burnett, Les Fonza, and Dan Sherman.
The evening was made even more inspiring as we honored Michèle Crider, distinguished QHS alumna and internationally acclaimed opera singer, whose journey from those very halls to the world’s grandest stages reminds us of what’s possible when passion meets opportunity.
We also celebrated Nik Broekemeier, recipient of this year’s Dream Big Staff Choice Award, recognized by his peers and the community for his dedication, innovation, and commitment to student success.
The gala was more than a celebration — it was a reminder of the incredible experiences QPS offers its students, and of the vital role the Foundation plays in making them possible. From music and the arts to technology, athletics, and innovative classroom curriculum, these opportunities enrich lives, build confidence, and prepare students for success beyond graduation.
